The last rose of summer - Meav  
Tis the last rose of summer, left blooming alone
All her lovely companions are faded and gone
No flow'r of her kindred, no rose-bud is nigh
To reflect back her blushes or give sigh for sigh
여름날 마지막 장미 저 홀로 남아 피었네
사랑하는 동료들은 모두 사라져 버렸는데
근처에는 어느 다른 꽃도 어느 장미 봉오리도 없는데
붉은 얼굴로 한숨을 쉬고 있네
I'll not leave thee, thou lone one!
To pine on the stem
Since the lovely are sleeping, Go sleep thou with them
Thus kindly I scatter Thy leaves o'er the bed
Where thy mates of the garden Lie scentless and dead
나 그대 외로운 장미 곁을 떠나지 않으리라
떠나면 그 꽃 애타게 그리울 것이니. 
사랑하는 이들이 잠들면 나 그들과 함께 잠들며
나 즐거운 마음으로 그 잎새들을 잠자리에 뿌려 놓으리라
함께 꽃 피우던 친구들은 향기를 잃고 죽어 버렸네
So soon may I follow when friendship decay
And from life's shining circle the gems drop away
When true hearts lie wither'd and fond ones are flown
Oh, who would inhabit this bleak world alone
친구들은 썩어가고 나도 곧 뒤따르리라
생명의 빛나는 품에서 보석들은 떨어져 내리리라
진실한 가슴들이 시들어 눕고 좋은 친구들이 떠나가 버렸을 때
아 누가 이 쓸쓸한 세상에 홀로 남아 살고 싶을까
